Robert Jackson has served as IUSI's executive director since its founding in 1985. A former chair of the Romance Languages at the University of Oregon, he has also taught Spanish at Harvard, Duke, Williams and Dartmouth, as well as American literature at the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro. In 2004 he was awarded the José María Vertiz prize by the City of Querétaro for contributions to international education. |

Ashley Jackson has served as IUSI's financial manager for 14 years. She delights in crunching numbers and finding the bottom line. She has a degree in Education from Lewis and Clark College, and taught elementary school for several years before turning her attention to raising two daughters. She joined IUSI in 1995 and continues to dedicate herself to the longevity of the institution and its mission. |
